How can you simultaneously promote respect while ignoring disrespectful behavior?

- gress 12y agoNobody is doing that. The parent was dismissive of the solution without offering an alternative other than a vague 'promoting respect'. I am asking how that is done in an environment that tolerates disrespectful behavior.
