Actually nuclear plants could be placed in remote islands so electricity would be brought using underwater cables.
But then - I think people would never harness nuclear power since it was created as an alternative to coal and oil. Without them no one would even think of using such a thing.
- jheriko 12y agoi think nuclear power was realised as a result of the revolution in physics at the turn of the century... nothing to do with looking for alternatives.
