I know people who work from home and get a lot done, but the general feeling when you get the 'WFH' email in the morning is that the person is taking the day off :\ it's hard for the people taking advantage of it not to create a stigma that effects everyone. Especially to management.
- mattbeckman 11y agoExactly. My company is 100% virtual, and we've been WFH for about 4 years. I remember taking an official day off with my family, where we met up with another family for a fun outing. The other dad (who worked for a non-WFH company) was "working from home" while we were out enjoying ourselves. Irked.
