Ask HN: Is it the right time to seek venture funding for my VR startup?

Hello everyone, I am currently working on a virtual reality statup for education and I started to receive emails from potential investors. I started working on this project 5 weeks ago (it's still a side project) and I feel like it's too soon for that, am I right? I would prefer focusing for now on growth, product development and revenue generation. However, I've been invited to an edtech investment summit and I cannot help but think that it could be a great networking opportunity... Any advice? Thank you!
