- berntb 11y agoIt is cool. Too cool. Why not start with a reusable first stage using the engines? That ought to be a much simpler and faster project. It would create a cash flow and make the final vehicle more likely to succeed. As they say, "build a little, test a little, learn a lot." Even from a software point of view, it just seems sane to do iterative design/build phases instead of building the world's first SSTO directly using a totally new design (the lightweight spacecraft).
