Overheating. Intel is lying about what is necessary to keep Core-M at 5W TDP. The vast majority of Core-M devices out there will overheat because of that, which means they'll throttle and kill the battery faster, too.
- epmatsw 12y agoWhy would throttling kill the battery faster? If anything, wouldn't that extend battery life?
