How about a reverse response? Build a dash cam which watches plates & logs metadata, possibly even crowdsourcing the info. Outrageous? no different from what DH

How about a reverse response? Build a dash cam which watches plates & logs metadata, possibly even crowdsourcing the info. Outrageous? no different from what DHS would do. Leverage that outrage to get license plates dumped entirely.

The majority of people would loose their lunch if they visit a webpage that tracked their every movement just to point out that the federal government and local police are doing EXACTLY That. 1. Get rasperrypi powered off cig ligher 2. Get Cheap webcam 3. Save data to SD card 4. Upload to website 5. Scare people into changing the surveillance state.
