  I read it as "don't spend your time trying to find / meet (real) investors", along the lines of #47 "You're probably either building or fund raising." Also that meaningful investments don't necessarily come from traditional, real investors.

  His younger self doesn't know any real investors. He needs to get more connections. (My interpretation)
