Why salt has to be bleached and what minerals are added to it?

  I'm not sure what you mean by bleaching. Salt is a mineral (it's sodium chloride - NaCl). The only other mineral "added to it" is iodine in iodized salt. The iodine is added to prevent iodine deficiency.

  Because companies realized they could purify and sell non-edible salt. Then people got sick so they readded iodine. Traditional salt was not purified or bleached much and left in trace elements.

      Non-edible salt is purified and companies readd some trace elements. Iodine deficiency is the most obvious disease.

        But do you have any source backing your claim that purified salt was the cause of people getting sick?

          A lack of trace elements causes people to get sick. Does purified salt provide those trace elements? It did not, therefore iodine was added.
