Similarily I like to eat sandwiches by cutting them up into pieces with a fork/knife. I don't think it's so much hipster though, seeing as "finger food" is quite common. On those metal chopsticks though, I couldn't disagree more. Ever used them for noodles? It just doesn't grab stuff as well as the wooden ones.
