No, that's not the alternative at all. The alternative would be to have people from other countries pay their own way and provide free education to your own citizens.
- eru 12y agoIsn't it nice that some countries try to transcend the accidents of birth within or beyond an imaginary line?
- tsotha 12y agoSure, it's nice that the Germans are doing it. I don't want my country doing it, though.
- eru 12y agoBut you want your country doing it for your countrymen? If yes, why do you care about helping some people who were born inside some invisible line more than others? (If not, that's at least not nationalistic..)
