Interestingly, both Starbucks and Beats have prices similar to nice, higher-end products in their respective markets.
- blowski 12y agoExactly. They both focus on design and marketing, on giving users more conspicuousness in their 'conspicuous consumption'. If you want people to know that you pay a lot for coffee, then coffee in a generic white cup is missing a key feature.
