We need someway to authenticate websites. The only viable alternative I know is DANE with DNSSEC. As long as DNSSEC is not widely deployed - and actually authenticated on the client - what alternative is there?
- halayli 12y agoThis is worse than not having an alternative because it gives a sense of security to people without knowing whom they are trusting.
