- jack-r-abbit 12y agoProbably the same way people do it at companies that occupy several separate buildings in a complex. You walk.
- serve_yay 12y agoI'm asking how you know where to walk to. Sheesh.
- jack-r-abbit 12y agoI know. I was being a bit flippant on purpose. Having every body in one giant room doesn't mean there is no rhyme or reason to how things are laid out and labeled. Instead of moving between Building 1 & Building 4, you might go from Section 1 to Section 4. Only people that work there are going to need to know where Sections 1 & 4 are.
- chmullig 12y agoFacebook has Wayfinders that provide an interactive touch screen map all over campus. Type in a name and it shows you where they are, relative to where you are. Super handy.
- serve_yay 12y agoOoh, nice!
- phodo 12y agoThey could divide the space with cubes/walkways using a BSP algorithm [1] and provide Roguelike movement between openspace areas (we'll call them "rooms") http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Binary_space_partitioning http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Binary_space_partitioning
