I don't think there's a single DK meme, but I do think that this is a common DK meme.
Somewhat-serious suggestion: maybe people who actually understand DK, have a tendency to underestimate how well they understand it relative to everyone else, and so assume that everyone else understands it about as well as they do.
- msandford 12y agoI think it's hilarious that everyone piling onto this guy from being "so wrong" about Dunning-Kruger have a huge blind spot. Maybe they don't understand it as well as they think so, either. If it's possible that he's super-wrong, it's also entirely possible that they are too.
- army 12y agoI've definitely heard the negatively correlated variant of the meme. I'm not sure it's the predominant one or always explicitly expressed, but it's out there.
