I wouldn't buy openmoko, as I saw it and it's not a cell phone I'd like to use. While the hardware is nice, hearing "sorry, I couldn't call you because I have flashed my moko and something is broken now" from my friends wasn't exactly the right marketing.
On the other hand, this thing is very simple, should be complete (much less and simpler software then in moko), and it's actually something I'd buy. $99 is quite a lot for this, but I guess they can drive the price much lower, eventually. I believe that this can be much more life-changing than openmoko, as it's something working, simple, open, and worth having, even if I want to do something else then hacking a cellphone.
