Yeah that's my thinking on it. They're being handed traffic, or more correctly having it thrown at them maliciously, which they could in turn redirect back at some point in the Chinese infrastructure.
- frankchn 12y agoWho do they reflect the attack to though? Baidu? They might not even know this is happening (well they probably do now, but not sure what they can do). The GFW infrastructure itself certainly isn't publicly addressable.
