Honestly that is exactly the kind of service experience I have been getting from Comcast, at&t and Verizon in all the years I lived in the States. Not sure where the reputation for great customer service comes from. At least in the telco/cable space I have not witnessed it. Most was customer service reps who didn't care, were powerless, badly trained, outsourced or (often) all of the above.
