Dropbox is a resource hog. Unless i want my windows machine to fireup on RAM, fan speed, hard disk usage and stall, I avoid running Dropbox in background. Onedrive works better for me!
- semerda 12y agoAre you on a mac? I have the same issue :( and only run Dropbox when I'm not engaged with my computer to let it do its thing. Saying that, as a paying customer, I still love Dropbox since it's sync quality & ease is outstanding. I'm also a fan of their Datastore API.
- danieldk 12y agoI am on a Mac and don't have that problem. Did you try to trace the Dropbox process to see if anything weird is happening?
- sandGorgon 12y agoSame here ! Microsoft's Onedrive has been surprisingly good for me - on Android as well.
