He made a negative statement about a popular language and provided no factual support. He is not advancing the discussion. If he was open to the idea that Haskell has practical use, he would have indicated so in his post.
- AnimalMuppet 12y agoPopular? Um, no. "Increasingly popular" might be true, but "popular" is a bit of a stretch. The problem that I see is more that the quality of the working environment is part of the practicality of using the language. That is, I think his criticism is self-contradictory. (Plus, the way it's worded just smells like a troll...)
