Any way to get it running in a virtual machine without having a real hard drive to put it on?
- wtallis 12y agoIt's probably easier to get it running in a VM, since it expects a very plain 32-bit IBM-compatible machine and doesn't handle modern things like USB. Just set your VM to emulate the oldest hardware it supports.
- FreeFull 12y agoYeah, but I'm not sure how to get it onto the virtual HDD in the first place. The instructions given depend on real hardware. Thinking about it, I suppose I could install Linux in the virtual machine, and follow the instructions there..
- FreeFull 12y agoUpdate: Managed to get it installed to its own hard drive in virtualbox by hacking the install script to allow it. Unfortunately, it kernel panics during boot. I'll try again, this time with a Linux live cd
