Seems like they keep running into this issue over and over again. https://xkcd.com/927/ https://xkcd.com/927/ I am inclined to think an older unified data format such as XML will probably be enough to deal with this. This may require government intervention, especially since individual doctors offices are often at ransom to tech companies.
