surely Comodo can check if there is an existing cert?
- shabble 12y agothere's no reason having a cert should prevent you from registering another one, afaik. There are plenty of reasons you might legitimately want to do that, and running the certpatrol firefox extension shows that lots of sites change cert (and even issuer CA) fairly regularly.
