Someone I talked applied to Harvard for undergrad, and was interviewed by some insufferable asshole who said something like "you're not the kind of student we are looking for". Her comment was that "it was useful to know that the big Ivy League experience was not what I wanted" (and she instead went to a liberal arts college). But it's kindof bad that some random guy who is not even employed by them gets to be the (rather ugly) face of the university...
