I have had a bone graft on my right wrist from an injury when I was younger and find using a mouse for long periods of time quite awkward. The best solution I have found is to use a Wacom tablet instead of a mouse. Using a writing implement is far better for my wrist than anything else I have tried (wrist rests, trackball).
