- balabaster 12y agoYeah, it's sad. I think that investigative journalism should be funded by the public, unfortunately, that's a conflict of interest for the government and sadly, most of the public doesn't really want to know the truth, they want just want to feel that their perspective on the status quo is validated, and that their life can carry on comfortably like it did yesterday... and the day before... and the day before that. And if it isn't carrying on that way, they want to know who to blame for the discomfort that causes so they can go over with their torches and pitchforks and get "justice", whatever the "news" tells them what form that justice should take.
