- pfranz 12y agoQuick tip: If you turn off Simple Passcode (the 4-digit pin) and your Passcode is all numbers then you will be presented with a number pad. It's not as secure as numbers and letters but I find it much easier to type in a long number.
- artenix 12y agoGood catch! So, if I choose 8 random digits, it could take 132 years to break.
- PhantomGremlin 12y agoInteresting. I just turned off Simple Passcode as an experiment. The number pad presented resembles a standard DTMF keypad. Which means that it also has all the letters on it. Some people might prefer using those to numbers. E.g. a long time ago a friend had a phone number of "tinyhat". Much easier for me to remember, even after nearly 40 years, than the 7 digits that translated to.
