I'm guessing this is probably corporate tone deafness rather than something sinister - it seems quite believable to upsell customers to a "gold" package that offers live video conferencing to Hertz staff to "book me a hotel and dinner" (at least believable that the corporate marketing department would think this is a good idea). As always, the danger will come from incompetently, corporately developed systems that are vulnerable to hackers who will be live streaming the inside of Hertz cars for lolz.
