It's not my favorite thing, but I do believe it removes the need for a lot of other meetings. I also find that I am almost never 'statused' on this team, which is a huge improvement. Talking too much is a discipline thing that you have to push against hard & often. Some people get it really easily, while others take a lot of coaching before they learn to give the right amount of information.
