I'm amazed at how fast sites load when javascript is disabled. It reminds me of the early days of broadband. Like the first time I sat at a college campus computer that had a 100mb connection -- my face melted off. I actually have javascript disabled on one of my mobile phone browsers simply for speed reasons.
