This is a sort of repeating event over the last several decades. People with libertarian leanings find (thing) which they believe sidesteps (regulator powers of some kind). Slowly, (regulator) asserts itself, up to and including force of law or even armed response. I don't know when this pattern will stop happening. You're _never_ going to move to a floating/flying platform in the middle of the ocean/in space and cyberjack into a utopian free-for-all.
