- TylerE 12y agoThat's a rather unfair characterization. The FAA keeps very tight reins on commercial operations, with damn good reason. Why do you think commercial flight is so safe?

See FAA Is anyone familiar with the concept of a revolving door? The FAA isn't magically immune to this process and is in fact a good case study of the phenomenon. But continue to downvote comments not because they aren't true but because they challenge your mistakenly held beliefs.
