Agreed. We have seen zero regulatory or legislative proposals to limit high frequency trading. Flash Boys didn't shake Wall Street to its core. It didn't even register as a tremor. Arguably (like Michael Lewis' other book, Liar's Poker) it made high frequency trading look sexy, and therefore more attractive.
