The builders I know have pretty relaxed lives. They were immigrants and never worked for anyone. Just started buying lots and building new houses with their own money + bank loans. I actually seek jobs that involved putting out fires. I work best on my feet, thinking quickly, with lots of varied stimuli. I'm getting sick of doing slow office-based stuff, I spiral downwards when I have too much time to think. Of course, it's stressful putting up all that money and then things out of your control can tank (economy). That's business, though.
