CloudFlare had a huge DNS outage yesterday that broke half the Internet for NY/NJ and some other location.
Hopefully these lessons teach us that single points of failure are bad.
- kevin_thibedeau 12y agoI'm always puzzled whenever I have to enable a Cloudflare script on a site that clearly doesn't have enough volume to need it and would have been more robust and simpler with a traditional data center. It also annoys me to no end that I have to permit JavaScript from random hosts to support a cloud server that should be completely transparent to me.
