I use FreeBSD for two reasons: 1. The documentation is unmatched. 2. The community is very nice. I don't know if 1 applies to OpenBSD or not, but 2 doesn't.

  You forgot a reason: 5 years of base system support for a release branch with rolling-release ports/packages vs OpenBSD's "1 year and you're unsupported" model.
