Google ads eng here: you're not the enemy. As the parent said, "Trust me, ad networks want to get you the best ads as possible." We don't want you to feel hate and resentment while looking at an ad. So, we try to accommodate your adblocker (as we update our UI we go out of our way to avoid confusing your adblocker), we try to serve you fewer ads, and we work on alternative ways to fund web development, such as Consumer Surveys and Contributor.
