As an immigrant to the US from Europe, one of the worst aspects of US culture is how it treats the unfortunate. People are all too willing to inflict severe judgement and punishment on others (presumably because it makes them feel morally upright). Poor? Fuck you, your fault. Addict? Fuck you, your fault. No, it does not matter that you have cleaned your act. This country is psychopathic. Unfortunately, that also makes it a great place to earn money, and so here I am.
