Since he's not listed in the S-1, isn't a member of the board, and hasn't been quoted as speaking on behalf of Etsy in any articles I could find post-2011, I presume that his LinkedIn profile is just rotting away. I get the impression that he sees himself in the elder statesman phase of his career, given how he is always listed as "the founder of Etsy".
