I went to an interview about a two years ago in an academic setting in the finance department and one of the interviewers was the president of the finance department. I wore a suit and tie to the interview and the team walked in with polos and khakis. I quickly slipped my jacket off, so it was not too uncomfortable. But its better to know, it one less thing to NOT worry about.
