That certainly wasn't true for Bladerunner, IMHO.
- ekianjo 12y agoTrue, but Blade Runner had a different story. The producers forced the Director to add the voice-over for the final cut of the movie before release because they would be worried the audience would not "get it" otherwise (if I remember correctly). The Director's Cut was the true version of the movie originally planned for theaters.
