The first time I saw Aliens, I was on acid, and to me, in that state of mind, it seemed like the best movie ever created. I remember sweating a lot watching it, and all the meta-references that psychedelics enhance seemed to work perfectly within the framework of this story and show. More to the authors point, I have two grown sons and a 13yo daughter, and always, the best way for me to relive my (often misspent) youth is with and through them, by sharing the same or very similar experiences.
