If the "greatest threat to humanity" is something everybody agrees neither exists nor is imminently about to be created, we are pretty lucky. I wish that were the case, but it clearly isn't. But what I absolutely don't understand is the logic of predicting the apocalypse. You can either be wrong or dead – there is zero upside.
