Agreed on the "senior" designation. I'd prefer to see number of years developing software instead of an arbitrary title as the measure of experience.

Agreed on the "senior" designation. I'd prefer to see number of years developing software instead of an arbitrary title as the measure of experience.
- noarchy 12y agoThe problem is, those title are just that - arbitrary. I've seen "senior" or "lead" developers with less than five years of experience. I don't necessarily have a problem with that if they're really that good, but how often is that the case?
