- cafard 12y agoUpvar, properly used, is an excellent tool. Years ago I went looking for an equivalent of PHP. One of the first links thrown up by Google was a PHP discussion thread on which the fellow wishing for upvar was told that he was a bigot (or worse) for even thinking of such a thing.
- RHSeeger 12y agoThe upvar and uplevel commands allow for some really powerful capabilities, like writing new control structure. They're amazing.
