I actively encourage people to ask me questions. I never directly tell them how to solve it though, I give them helpful nudges towards the answer so that they can learn it and solve it themselves. Seeing the moment when someone figures it out is great. If someone asks me a question looking for a discussion on how something should be done, I'll gladly have a discussion as long as it's not simply me telling them how to do it. As other commenters have said here. Asking questions is good, asking good questions is even better.
