I think it needs to keep being synthesized and summarized and codified only because there's always a generation of founders that haven't seen it. I feel the same way you do, but it's a good reminder to read it and it's good for new founders to have it freshly in front of them.

- smeyer 12y agoYou're joking, right? If so, sorry for not being sure. If not, the answer is that lots of people do try writing books with startup advice, but there's no one with the power to wave a magic wand and make a book "definitive", have everyone agree that it's definitive, and make everyone new to the field realize that it's definitive and they should grab a copy.
