Heh, I remembered the project too, I was just reminded of the blurry text by the blurry text. If you find a high contrast hard on the eyes you could drop it a bit by just making the lettering a lighter grey in leiu of the drop shadow. Just don't overdo it or you'll get people complaining about that.
