This is a really well thought-out response. Even though people would probably like to describe eHealth as an exception, I think that situation really exemplifies the problems I was trying to expose in the RFP process. It's just another reason it's a bad system.
- tptacek 17y agoNo, it exemplifies what's wrong in the GSA-style procurement system, where the process is deliberately complicated and biased towards a small number of institutionally-accepted contract holders. It has nothing at all to do with the bare concept of an RFP, and does not reflect the nature of RFPs outside of FedGov.
