Mildly interesting overview but I'm not sure it achieves it's purpose of making "mainstream business audience—laypeople ... understand the phenomenon of the Ruby language" I thought this was cute: "In its required annual filings in 2009 with the Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC), Microsoft listed both the Ruby language and the Rails framework as significant competitors."
